New Anonymous Tool – HOIC

New Anonymous Tool – HOIC

More attacking tool from Anonymous! Here comes HOIC (High-Orbit Ion Canon)!

If you have been following DDoS tools used by Anonymous, you would have heard of the LOIC (Low-Orbit Ion Canon). So what’s the difference between HOIC and LOIC? And what’s better in HOIC?

LOIC had both TCP and UDP DDoS attacks in addition to HTTP attacks were as HOIC is strictly an HTTP DDoS tool. The real difference, or enhancement, that HOIC has over LOIC is its use of what it calls “Booster Scripts”. While the HOIC requests try to evade detection through randomisation techniques, there are still some request attributes which can be used for identification of attack traffic. Most of these tell-tale signs are based on abnormalities v. real web browsers.
